Rossini: William Tell Overture
Holst: The Perfect Fool Ballet Suite
Brahms: Violin Concerto

Experience Brahms’ Violin Concerto with violinist extraordinaire, Sergey Pospelov, making his U.S. debut all the way from Russia. This passionate performer was a finalist in the renowned International Tchaikovsky Competition. His energy, skill, and musical interpretation will leave you breathless. You’ll also enjoy Rossini’s William Tell Overture made famous from the soundtrack of the popular Western drama The Lone Ranger.

Pospelov is a first place winner of five international violin competitions in Moscow, Prague, and Naples and semi-finalist in the renowned International Tchaikovsky Competition.   "Watching him perform here in Battle Creek will be a highlight of the Symphony season for me," says fellow Russian violinist Oleg Bezuglov, associate concertmaster of the Battle Creek Symphony. The Battle Creek Symphony is home to many international musicians from Eastern Europe to South America, as well as our locally grown performers from Southern Michigan.
